HDTV Camera system

Deep Sea Systems high definition television (HDTV) camera provides broadcast quality high resolution color video in 720 or 1080 format at up to 60 frames/sec with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The HDTV camera is mounted on the pan and tilt unit.  Remote control of camera zoom, focus and iris is from a camera control unit over an RS-232 serial channel provided by the ROV’s fiber‑optics remote control and telemetry system.

The video output is digitally transmitted completely noise free on a single dedicated optical fiber. The camera’s underwater housing includes an optical quality domed port, corrective optics and a light baffle.
