2000 SERIES THRUSTERS

 
 
 

The SEA MAX 2000 Series Thrusters are the result of more than 20 years of deep ocean engineering experience in the design and manufacture of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).

These thrusters have a 0.5 to 2.0 hp electrical input power rating.  They are small size and low weight brushless electric, high performance motors that offer the ultimate in reliability.  The pressure balanced oil filled design (PBOF) maintains positive overall pressure inside the chamber regardless of depth.  The shaft seal friction losses are minimized by the use of the PBOF design and a ceramic graphite rotary shaft seal, where the compression friction at the seal is constant.

The TH-2000 Series Thrusters are powered and controlled by an electronic drive module (EDM).  The EDM connects directly to the thruster and is powered from an AC or DC power source.  The DriveBlok is a vector drive type that enables a TH-2000 Series Thruster to operate over a wide range of power ratings to serve a large number of applications that require specific ranges of torque and motor speed.
